Monthly food expenditure among young Italian consumers 2021, by category

As of 2021, household monthly expenditures on food and non-alcoholic beverages among young Italian consumers varied significantly according to the products considered. Indeed, it was found that consumers between 18 and 34 spent on average just over 52 euros per month on meat, while only spending about ten euros on coffee, tea, and cocoa. It was also found that a considerable amount of money was spent on bread and cereals (roughly 45 euros per person).
