In the region of the Brussels capital, numerous illegal drug productions were registered by the Belgian Federal Police from 2009 to 20212 The highest number of offenses were registered in 2014, whereas the lowest number of cases were reported in 2009. In 2022, 77 cases were registered.
Regardless of some years having fewer reported cases during this period, an overall increase in such crimes was perceptible. However, crime-related numbers reflect solely reported or registered cases.
