Share of people interested in watching the 2020 Summer Olympics 2019
Approximately 31 percent of respondents in Japan stated that they were very interested in watching the games of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics either on TV or at the game venues, according to a survey conducted in November 2019. In 2019, the majority of respondents, over 60 percent, were to some extent interested in watching the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo. This was an increase compared to last year's survey.
