Console gaming publisher Sony has significantly expanded the availability of its previously PlayStation-exclusive titles on PC. As of May 2024, Helldivers 2 (released just the previous month) claimed the top stop with over 458,709 peak concurrent users on the gaming platform. The title was released simultaneously on PlayStation and on the PC gaming platform Steam. Up until then, God of War (2018) had been the most popular Sony first-party title on Steam, with a peak concurrent user count of over 73 thousand. Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered was ranked third with over 66 thousand peak concurrent users. In the fiscal year 2022 (ending March 2023), Sony generated approximately 250 million U.S. dollars in revenue through sales of its first-party titles for PC.
