Leading motivations of Russian tourists to visit Japan 2019
According to a survey conducted in the departure lobbies of Japanese airports and seaports throughout 2019, for almost 86 percent of Russian tourists eating Japanese food was one of the motivations to come to Japan. Japanese cuisine was followed in popularity by experiencing shopping activities, which was mentioned by a majority of respondents.
