In the fall of 2020, approximately half of consumers in the United States planned to buy themselves clothing items. Many U.S. shoppers also had home goods, smart home devices, and toys on their shopping lists during this period. The fall includes a number of sales events, such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday, which, for many shoppers, is the time to buy the goods they are looking for.
