Due to the economic recession, the anxiety, and the travel restrictions brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, the tourism sector was one of the most impacted by the crisis. According to a Statista study on luxury tourism, global internal tourism revenues dropped by over 51 percent in 2020. Similarly, the luxury tourism segment also faced a difficult year, with a fall in revenues reaching nearly 54 percent.
