In 2022, China's Shanxi province got foreign direct investment amounting to almost one billion U.S. dollars and nearly 850 million U.S. dollars of foreign direct investment was realized through joint venture enterprises that year. Shanxi is a province located in China's middle region, next to Hebei, Shaanxi, Henan and Inner Mongolia. The province is rich in natural resources, especially high-quality coals.
