Leading motivations of French tourists to visit Japan 2023

According to a survey conducted in the departure lobbies of Japanese airports and seaports throughout 2023, for 92.7 percent of French tourists, eating Japanese food was one of the motivations to come to Japan. Japanese cuisine was followed in popularity by nature and scenery sightseeing, with 73.8 percent of respondents.
