The interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) among Italian companies operating in the industrial manufacturing sector raised attention throughout 2019. Some 46 percent of the interviewed companies declared that Proof of Concept (PoC) activities had already been undertaken, while eight percent planned to start utilizing AI technologies from 2020.
