The number of hotel stays in Spain increased for the third year in a row in 2023. In 2020, the number of tourists who stayed at hotels and hostels in Spain plummeted to approximately 34.6 million as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. By 2023, the number of domestic and international overnight guests hosted by hotel establishments had increased to over 102 million.
