Using natural contraceptives - such as the calendar-method or interrupted intercourse - was more popular among younger Danes in 2018. For the two youngest group of respondents, 11 percent of the males and 12 percent of the females had used natural contraceptives within the past year. Generally, the usage of such methods were the least prominent with older generations of Danes that year.
