South Africa eSports revenue by sector 2014-2023
Despite being a relatively new industry, the eSports market is booming across the globe and Africa is no different. While the revenue of consumer ticket sales within the eSports market stood at just 0.9 million South African rand in 2018, it is expected to soar up to 8.2 million South African rand by 2023 at a compound annual growth rate of 55.6 percent.
