According to results of the survey conducted in 2019, the Russian population aged between 25 and 34 years, were the most optimistic about positive consequences that the fall of the Berlin Wall had for their country, with 45 percent of people in this age category sharing this view. Within the older generation - 60 years and older, the majority agreed that this historical event had a harmful effect on Russia. The lowest level of awareness about the Berlin Wall was recorded among the youngest respondents.
