This statistic shows the results of a survey in which consumers in eight European countries were asked about how much they spent during the Christmas period in 2018, as well as their planned expenses for Christmas 2019, broken down by sales channel. Respondents were expecting to spend more online when shopping for Christmas, by about 4.7 percent compared to the year prior.
