A survey conducted on beauty trends in Indonesia in 2023 found that around 26 percent of respondents stated that they were using local cosmetics and beauty brands because the prices were affordable. According to the same survey, approximately 60 percent of respondents stated that they preferred to use local cosmetics and beauty brands over international brands.
