El Salvador: religion affiliation share 2023, by type

Roman Catholic is the most common religion affiliation in El Salvador. In a survey carried out in 2023, 43.9 percent of Salvadorian respondents claimed to be of catholic faith, whereas the second most chosen religion was Evangelism, with 38.2 percent of the people interviewed. On the other hand, over 16 percent of respondents answered they didn't profess any religion at all.
