Over the 2019 holiday season, shoppers across Europe were expecting to utilize mobile apps while doing their holiday shopping, according to a consumer research published by Salesforce. The share of respondents who planned to shop via mobile apps varied between 46 percent in Germany and 69 percent in Italy. Of those surveyed for those study, 53 percent of consumers in Nordic countries expected to purchase holiday items on mobile shopping apps.
