According to a survey conducted in Japan in early 2024, about 30 percent of respondents believed that international cultural exchange is worthwhile it improves Japan's image on the international stage through better cultural understanding and internationalization of Japan. Roughly about the same share of people believed, that stable international relationships are built upon better mutual understanding and trust.
