Opinion poll on perception of new technologies in Russia in 2018
More than one half of respondents in Russia would feel relaxed to receive their purchases delivered by a drone or a robot, according to a survey conducted in 2018. The least positive attitude was observed when the participants were asked about their attitude to buying artificial meat grown in specific food production facilities, which only 17 percent would feel comfortable to do in the future. In 2018, 53 percent of Russians admitted to have difficulties in using modern technologies. Furthermore, nearly 80 percent of Russians had a negative perception of robots performing medical surgeries in the future.
