Perception of access to leisure activities contributing to happiness in Japan 2019
The majority of Japanese respondents, about 52 percent, stated that access to entertainment and sports contribute to some extent to their personal happiness, according to a survey conducted in June 2019 by Ipsos on happiness. With 71 percent of respondents claiming to gain happiness from having access to leisure activities, Japan stood above the global average of 69 percent.
