Share of high-quality regional roads in Russia 2023, by federal district

The largest share of high-quality regional and intermunicipal roads in Russia was observed in the Ural Federal District. In 2023, about 74 percent of such public roads in that area were considered to be meeting national regulatory requirements. The lowest share of high-quality roads of regional significance was recorded in the Northwestern Federal District at approximately 45 percent. The lowest share of local roads meeting official requirements was recorded in the same district.
