Confidence levels of French business leaders for the French economy 2018-2022

Nowadays, business leaders have to deal with economic uncertainty in a globalization context. Thus, this bar chart shows the results of a survey conducted with business leaders in France between 2018 and 2022.

The survey asked the French business leaders how confident they felt about the French economy regarding the prospects of the next six months, between September 2018 and December 2022. It appears that 79 percent of French business leaders felt confident for the French economy in September 2018. A year later, this rate remained stable with 78 percent of confidence level. A drop can be noted in January 2019, with a rate of 50 percent. The lowest confidence level, three percent, was reached in April 2020, after containment began.
