Number of hybrid trucks and vans in use in Belgium 2014-2020
In Belgium, between the period of 2014 and 2020 the number of hybrid (tanker) trucks and vans on the road increased steadily. In 2014, there were eight hybrid trucks and vans in use, whereas by 2020 this increased to 368 in total. In terms of the number of charging stations for electric vehicles, Belgium had nearly 7,500 charging stations in 2020, whereas neighboring countries the Netherlands and Luxembourg had roughly 58,000 and 1,000 charging stations.
