Around 63 percent of IT security practitioners stated that they used the cloud to store customer information, making it the most common type of corporate data stored in the cloud. Customer information, alongside payment information, also ranked among the riskiest types of data stored in the cloud, with nearly half of respondents placing the data type amongst their top two riskiest data types.
