Average daily time young adults spent with news on selected media in Chile 2022

During a survey fielded in Chile among people aged between 18 and 29 at the end of 2022, respondents reported spending, on average, one hour per day consuming news through online movies or series. They spent less time than that – 0.3 hours – reading online newspapers or magazines. Netflix, Amazon Prime, and HBO Max were among the most popular subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) platforms in Chile in 2021.
