Value of gross loans granted by rural and cooperative banks Philippines 2013-2023
As of December 2023, the gross value of loans issued by rural and cooperative banks in the Philippines amounted to approximately 254 billion Philippine pesos. The purpose of rural and commercial banks in the country is to promote and expand the rural economy by providing basic financial services to residents of rural areas as well as to farmers that need financial assistance.
