In fiscal year 2021, the total value of deposits from all private Indian banks amounted to over 48 trillion Indian rupees. This was an increase when compared to the previous fiscal year's 41 trillion rupees worth of deposits. Overall, HDFC Bank had the highest amount of deposits amounting to over 13 trillion rupees in fiscal year 2021 alone, followed by ICICI Bank and Axis Bank.
