Sales volume of slaughtered salmon in Norway 2018, by county
The sales volume of Atlantic salmon in Norway was highest in Trøndelag, located in the central part of the country. In 2018, nearly 321 thousand metric tons of salmon were sold, while in the county Nordland the sales volume amounted to around 250 thousand metric tons. Troms came in third position, ahead of Hordaland and Finnmark.
