Within the ten year time-frame considered, the share of people in the Netherlands who were 65 years or older and in good or very good health increased by approximately five percent. In 2008, 59 percent of people belonging to this age bracket who were surveyed in the Netherlands indicated that they were healthy, whereas in 2018 this figure had increased to 63 percent of respondents.
