This bar chart displays the results of an online consumer survey carried out by Statista, in France, in June 2017. This statistic shows the reading frequency of online newspapers by French consumers that year, depending on the age group of respondents. The age group with the highest rate of daily readers of online newspapers was the one including people aged 70 years and older. They were more than 30 percent to declare so.

According to data from another source on the percentage of the French population using Internet by age group; approximately 50 percent of people aged 70 and older stated using the Internet in 2017.
