In fiscal year 2021, the value of deposits at the Jammu and Kashmir Bank of India was worth over 1.08 trillion Indian rupees. This was a significant increase in the deposit volumes compared to fiscal year 2017 when the bank had about 725 billion rupees in deposits.
The Jammu & Kashmir Bank Ltd. is the only private sector bank designated as the Reserve Bank of India's agent for banking businesses and also carries out the banking tasks of the Central Government, besides collecting taxes for the Central Board of Taxes in India.
