In 2019, nine percent of respondents in a Chilean survey declared consuming cigars regularly. In that year, the share of respondents declaring occasional cigar consumption was equal to only four percent.
The question was presented as follows: "Please indicate whether you are a regular consumer, an occasional consumer, a former consumer or not a consumer of each of the following products."
