By the end of 2027, wind power is expected to account for almost 15 percent of the installed electricity generation capacity in Brazil, up from less than 13 percent in 2023. The contribution of solar sources is forecast to increase by more than three percentage points in this period, while the share of hydropower is expected to decrease to less than 50 percent.
