In September 2019, the majority of Italians believed that climate change was a real emergency. In particular, 65.8 percent of interviewees stated that the point of no return was reached and action against global warming was urgent. On the contrary, 20.7 percent of individuals did not think that the issue was a real emergency, whereas 6.2 percent of Italians affirmed that climate change did not exist.
