The top source of happiness in Russia in 2019 were people's living conditions, as per 89 percent of respondents participating in a survey by Ipsos. A feeling that their life had a meaning made 88 percent of Russians happy, being the second most popular answer. While family- and relationship-related matters were the top sources of greatest happiness across the country, in general terms, the major five sources were focused on rather individual happiness stemming from hobbies and interests, financial situation, and employment.
