Italy: opinions on the Fridays for Future movement 2019

In September 2019, Italian respondents mostly believed that Fridays for Future demonstrations had an impact on the people's awareness on climate change. Fridays for Future is a movement of students who take part to demonstrations to demand action against global warming. According to data, 33.5 percent of interviewees stated that the movement had a moderate influence on the environmental consciousness of the population. In addition, 16.1 percent of individuals affirmed that Fridays for Future significantly impacted the habits of the people.
Furthermore, data related to the population concern on climate change show that the majority of Italians considered the issue as a real emergency.
