Between September 2018 and August 2019, hotels were the most active tourist facilities online in Italy. Indeed, according to the data, hotels that received at least a review online in the 12 months prior to the research, accounted for 88 percent of tourist facilities with an active online presence in Italy. Similarly, agritourism facilities consisted of 79 percent of Italian tourist facilities with an active presence on the web in the period considered.
