Reasons why first-time home purchase is not possible in Italy 2018
This graph shows the answers to a survey conducted in 2018, where Italians were asked why they believed they were unable to purchase their first property. Almost one in two respondents (40 percent) blamed the lack of long-term job security. The second reason why Italians don't believe they would be able to buy their first property is that their income would be insufficient to afford such an important expense.
