Usual places of museums and exhibitions for French monument-lovers June 2018

In 2018, nearly a quarter of French people were monument lovers, having at least three visits during the year. This survey focuses on the usual places to visit museums or temporary exhibitions among these monument enthusiasts.

We note that 36 percent of respondents visited these type of place both in their region and when traveling. One in five French people visited museums in their region while 31 percent of them visited them exclusively outside their region.

Monument lovers were more likely to visit a museum exclusively during a trip than within their own region.
