Bar and pub industry revenue share 2018/19, by product segment

Beer contributed the highest share of revenues for the bar and pub industry in the UK in 2018/19, at over 32 percent - more than wine and spirits combined. Although associated with drinking, food has become an increasingly important part of the industry due to trends in eating out. Food accounted for over 25 percent of revenue for bars and pubs in the year to October 2019.
