According to a survey conducted about taxi app usage across India in September 2019, about 50 percent of the respondents stated that crediting an amount equivalent to 20 percent of the ride fare was the appropriate penalty if the platform or driver cancels a ride on the consumer. Another 45 percent stated that a fixed amount of 100 Indian rupees should be credited to the consumer if the aforementioned incident should happen.
