Opinion on online product reviews on e-commerce websites in India 2019
According to a survey conducted during the pre-festive season in India, a majority of respondents, at 38 percent, thought product reviews on ecommerce sites had some positive bias. On the other hand, 20 percent of consumers thought that ratings on online retail sites were accurate. The pre-festive season in the country refers to the annual Hindu festivals of Dusshera and Deepavali when retail sales usually peak.
