Opinion on online product ratings on e-commerce websites in India 2019

According to a survey conducted during the pre-festive season in India, a majority of respondents, at 38 percent, thought product ratings on ecommerce sites had some positive bias. On the other hand, five percent of consumers thought that ratings on online retail sites had a high negative bias. The pre-festive season in the country refers to the annual Hindu festivals of Dusshera and Deepavali when retail sales usually peak.
