Number of hybrid vehicles on the road in Belgium 2008-2019
As of 2019, there were in total approximately 114,600 hybrid cars to be found on the road in Belgium. This is an increase compared to the previous year and the highest registered volume. The volume of hybrid vehicles increased annually. A similar situation is observed with the number of electric passenger cars on the road in Belgium. In 2008, ten electric cars were registered on the road, whereas by 2018 this increased to roughly 9,250 electric passenger cars.
