During that year, only 5 percent of Spaniards between 18 and 24 years self-identified as totally right-wing supporters. In contrast, 15 percent of those aged 65 or over considered themselves to be in this area of the political spectrum.

Respondents were asked to determine their political orientation from 0 to 10, where 0 is "totally left-wing" and 10 is "totally right-wing". The ranges considered as right-wing were those from 6 to 10.
