When asked how much they spent on their pets in 2019, a large majority of Italians living in the North-west and in the Center said that they spent the same as in the previous years, 71.3 and 63.9 percent respectively. On the contrary, more than 40 percent of people living on the Islands claimed to have spent more than the previous years.
