When asked how much they spent on clothing and accessories in 2018, approximately 50 percent of Italians said, independently of the age, that they spent the same as in the previous years. Specifically, the amount of people who spent the same was closer to 55 percent among people between 45-64 years of age and was significantly lower than 50 percent for people older than that (45 percent).
