The income from broadcasting rights of professional soccer matches played in Spain was the main source of revenue for the Liga Nacional de Fútbol Profesional S.A. in the 2021/2022 season. The Spanish Football Association, also referred to as La Liga, generated nearly 1.8 billion euros in total from this source alone in that period.
