At the end of fiscal year 2021, the total revenue of Bharat Forge was over 36 billion Indian rupees. Year-over-year, the revenue declined by around 9 billion Indian rupees. Structural changes, switching emission norms, electrification of vehicles, and reduced demand affected the revenue of the company. The company is the country's largest exporter and manufacturer of automotive components. The flagship company of the Kalyani Group is among the largest forging companies in the world.
